Fettuccine Alfredo with Peas

Before you start
- •Mince 3-4 garlic cloves
- •Grate parmesan cheese
- •Lightly crush pink peppercorns. Don't grind.
- •Measure out heavy cream, butter, and remaining ingredients
- •Put water on the heat to boil
Instructions
- 1.While the water is coming to a boil, melt butter in a sauce pan over medium-low heat
- 2.Add minced garlic and cook gently, keeping the heat low
- 3.Slowly add the cream, stirring to bring it up to temperature
- 4.Add frozen peas to the sauce
- 5.Bring heat to low and slowly add the parmesan a little bit at a time, stirring continuously
- 6.Remove from heat and grate nutmeg to taste, then add crushed pink peppercorns
- 7.Cook pasta according to package directions, then drain
- 8.Place drained pasta back into the pot, add the sauce, and toss to combine
- 9.Let sit for 2-5 minutes before serving
